Darcey’s is actually owned by a Darcey.

For those of you who don’t know her, Darcey is 19 and had lived in Alverstoke all her life. Her passion for baking started a very long time ago, and has now expanded in to a business that also includes excellent, ethical coffee; beautiful loose leave teas sourced from around the world; locally sourced produce in our lunches and a gorgeous tearoom with two floors and an art gallery to boot.

Darcey’s caters to most dietary requirements, from vegetarian and vegan options to our commitment to gluten free bread always being available for sanwdiches; rolls to accompany the soups and always having at least one gluten free and coeliac cake among our daily specials. Please call us to discuss specific dietary needs, we always try our hardest to accommodate everybody.

Everything we serve is handmade by our lovely members of staff using the highest quality ingredients, from the free range eggs in our quiches to the local produce from the Haslar Shore Leave charity garden that we make in to delicious, vegan and gluten free soups.
